The soccer world is a soccer strategy game that the coaches need to know in order to teach their team to play in an efficient and impressive manner. An expert coach knows that the players need to be faster, stronger, and aggressive in order get a winning edge over their opponent. Direct play is supposed to be the best attacking strategy in soccer. Direct play simply means five passes or less. When attacking the opponent team to get control over the game, the coach needs to train the players how to gain entry into the attacking third of the field. He needs to teach his team certain techniques regarding that. For example, you can teach them to use long forward passes to the back of the defense. Forward runs without the ball is another great technique in this regard. The coaches should also teach the players about Forward passes to feet, supported by a player at an angle to receive the ball and pass it forwards. Again, it is also very important for the players to learn about receiving and turning with the ball. When it comes to attacking, the second thing that the coaches need to teach the players is how to increase, or at least maintain, the momentum of the attack once the ball is in the attacking third of the field. Again, whenever possible, the player must be able to pass the ball to the back of the defense. Crossing the ball early from the flanks (wing) to the back of the defense is another important thing for the players to learn in order to make their attacking position much better. Most importantly, the coach must also teach the players about how to retain a compact team shape. There is a third objective also. If the team is capable to achieve the second objective, it will be much easier for them to achieve the final objective of the Soccer strategy game, which is to do better than the opponents in four important elements of the game.
4-4-2 Defense; 4, defenders are usually arranged as outside left, inside left, inside right and outside right. The most recent idea is to have them lined up in a banana shape with the middle of the curve closest to the goalkeeper and the outside defenders, the points, slightly ahead but behind the midfielders. Some considered the flat back option but this means much more communication from the capitain of the defense usually one of the insiders. The general idea is to have the two defenders attend to the attack coming in from their side. This means that the opposite outside tucks in a little to cover the center of the field covering the goal and any incoming additional attacking opponents. When the team has possession the defenders would then play wide to stretch out the other teams attackers. Sometimes the defenders can be lined up in a diamond shape. This is to utilize the last player back as a “sweeper” who clears the ball up the field and out to the other defenders and mid fielders. This player is in constant communication with the goalkeeper and relays the message to the other defenders. This is because the goalkeepers can see the complete field from their vantage point. At times and in some cases too often this central defender will by-pass the midfield and play it up to the forwards. I say too often because this usually has the forwards out numbered by the opposing defenders.. However there are a few “power forwards” who could handle this situation, but most are unable too. The defender at the top of the diamond is considered the “stopper” whose duty is to challenge any attack or attacking play. They usually play from side to side rather than up and down the field. Midfield 4, mid-fielders are usually arranged as outside left, inside left, inside right and outside right. This would make this line up have a possibility of 4 strikers at any given time. This also depends on the team strategy as outlined by the coaching staff. The two inside midfielders are supposed to be the “play makers”. These are the individuals who are responsible for carrying out the plans the coach and players have designed and used as the methods of attack and goal scoring. Forwards; These are the main ggoooooooooooalll scoring machines. The ones who react to the ball quickly and are able to shoot from any place on the field. They make the defense leave their zonal resposibilities whereby taking them “out of the game”. |

Customise Your PS3 With Skins by GelaSkin
Game on: The Darkness II
Part-Godfather and part-Exorcist, The Darkness II (PS3/Xbox 360/PC) feels, at times, as much a film as a game. In the title menus, each of the game’s four difficulty levels is accompanied by a single sentence of explanation. The essence of the game is neatly captured in the tagline of the easiest setting: “Tell me a story.” The Darkness II began life as a comic book and, rather than walk the now well-trodden path from cult comic to blockbuster to video game tie-in, it ditched the middle man and skipped straight to 2007′s The Darkness – a quiet success story in terms both of sales and reviews. That a film has yet to materialise may be in no small part due to the gruesome setting and tone, combining the prostitution, drugs and violence of the organised crime world with demonic ritual, haemophiliac gore and a journey to the depths of hell. More fool film. For all the vice and viscera, The Darkness II, like its predecessor, is at heart a love story: between our hero, young mafioso Jackie Estacado, and his childhood sweetheart Jenny Ramano, his only friend from the orphanage they grew up in. In one scene from the original game, Jackie and Jenny sit watching To Kill A Mockingbird on a tattered old sofa. Jennie falls asleep, her head on your shoulder, and as the player you can choose to stay there, watching the film all the way to the end, in real time. Games blogger Nathan Grayson called it “the most authentic instance of romance ever conveyed in a videogame”. Customise Your PS3 With Skins by GelaSkin
The PS3 is no doubt an awesome piece of kit. Having sold around 50 million units, no doubt helped by having a built in Blu-ray...
For the players who sat with Jenny until the end, it must have hit like a hammer when a short while later rival mobsters shot her dead in front of them. In the sequel the pair are reunited in short, bittersweet and tender hallucinations – stark counterpoints to the relentless blood, guts and grime of the rest of the game. The sofa scene is an example of the way storytelling in games can be both far richer and, at the same time, far less important than in films, and in a sense for the same reason. Unlike in films, the story of a game will tend to be optional – in The Darkness II, as in most new games, players who just want to crack skulls can skip nearly every cutscene and line of dialogue, and scoff at the game’s attempt to engage them emotionally or intellectually. Video games can still be mindless if the player wants. But just as there’s the option of foregoing the story, you can also seek it out. Early in The Darkness II, the player is left alone to wander his mansion. A pair of burly mafia goons sit at the bar, deep in Sopranos-style banter. You can, of course, choose to ignore them, but opt instead to talk with them and they’ll bicker – their names, we learn, are Eddie and Frank, and as well as being mobsters, they’re brothers-in-law. Eavesdrop and Frank accuses his brother-in-law of never having been in love. Wait longer and you discover he cheats on Eddie’s sister, and Eddie knows, and what’s more, he’s OK with it. Wait still longer and the pair share a long and smutty Lone Ranger and Tonto joke. Each conversation is warm, characterful and funny. All of it voice-acted, the characters gesticulating wildly – like proper, three-dimensional mob men. This is not a game for action gamers: it plays, by and large, as a fairly simple first-person shooter. But as an answer to the refuseniks who still dismiss games’ potential as a storytelling medium, The Darkness II is emphatic.

Christmas – History and Trivia for Parties
The history of Christmas can be traced back at least four thousand years with many of the most popular traditions celebrated long before the Christ child was born. Early Europeans believed in evil spirits and other supernatural beings and as Winter Solstice approached with its shorter days and increasingly longer nights, there became an anxiety among the society members that maybe the sun would never return. To ensure that the sun would return, special rituals and celebrations were conducted including yule log fires, gift exchanges, feasts, caroling, and even a huge carnival. Many of the same traditions practiced by the early Europeans were mirrored in other societies including Scandinavian, Greek, and Roman practices. As Christianity spread throughout the world, the Christians wanted to maintain a reverent holiday by which to honor the Christ Child. The Christians were alarmed by the irreverent and festive celebrations and customs of the pagans and Romans. This type of jovial celebration was absolutely forbidden by the church. Of course at first, the Church tried to forbid its converted members from taking part in the various festivities. It didn’t really work well, and the Church took a different approach. The Church created a Christmas celebration that merged the two conflicting practices. The Church insisted on a celebration that would be an appropriate recognition for the son of God yet it would incorporate the merriment, lights, and gifts that were so mesmerizing of early European celebrations. Of course, not to be held down, the holiday reemerged with feasting and decorations still part of the festivities but with a more religious emphasis placed on practice and themes. Many carols, paintings, and other historical Christmas traditions continue to reflect this return to the Christian Christmas theme that enabled the holiday celebrations to again be allowed.

Black Friday 2011 Predictions from GottaDeal.com, Web's Largest Black Friday Site
|
Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) September 19, 2011 Having covered Black Friday extensively for the past eight years, the expert deal hunters at GottaDeal.com are in a better position than nearly anyone else to offer predictions for Black Friday 2011. Over the years they’ve noticed trends in the deals offered by the major retailers and can offer a glimpse into what they believe will be the most popular deals and hottest items. They’ll also give you some predictions for the actual prices consumers will see these items selling at this Black Friday based on their research along with some general holiday shopping predictions for this year. Holiday Shopping Last year continued the trend of down years for many retailers, both traditional and online. This holiday season including Black Friday is shaping up to be an important final opportunity for retailers to make up for the lackluster sales they’ve had the rest of the year. While GottaDeal.com likely won’t begin to see a steady stream of actual Black Friday ads until the middle of October, they are predicting that while retailers will try to boost sales with their Black Friday ads, the actual deals will likely be very similar to last year. As has happened in the last couple of years, they expect the deals overall to lack that “wow” factor that the sale ads had 4 to 5 years ago. While there were some nice deals last year, going by sales figures as well as the opinions of the die-hard Black Friday shoppers on their message boards, most stores failed to get consumers excited. They’re also expecting stock levels to be slightly down from last year, as retailers don’t want to stock as much product with uncertainty clouding the shopping season. Therefore it may be more important than ever to get in line earlier to score the best deals. One trend that will continue is the extension of Black Friday from one day into a prolonged period of sales. Again this year there were several major national retailers that had “Black Friday in July” sales earlier this year. These sales were not really comparable to the regular Black Friday sales, but the trend of using the term “Black Friday” for sales that aren’t specifically on November 25th will likely continue as retailers pull out all the stops to get people in the stores. A trend that started a few years ago that GottaDeal.com expects to continue is for stores to have a few Black Friday-level deals in their weekly ads beginning as early as October, and some will likely reference Black Friday in some way to draw interest. But the hottest deals and the largest number of them will still be on the actual Black Friday, as always. With Black Friday being exactly a month from Christmas, retailers will have to get consumers shopping earlier rather than counting on Black Friday and the few remaining weekends in December to provide most of their sales. Online retailers, and brick & mortar retailers with e-commerce sites have the advantage here as they can quickly prepare and promote online sales leading up to Black Friday. These sales are fully covered on GottaDeal.com. They also predict that stores will once again heavily embrace social networking this year as a part of their strategy for the holiday season. Look for exclusive deals and contests to appear on stores Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. Expect several stores to give sneak peeks of their Black Friday ad via these means as well, although they may be beatento it and have their ad already posted on GottaDeal.com. Looking at at specific items that should prove to be popular this year: HDTVs HDTVs have been popular Black Friday items in the past few years, and GottaDeal.com expects that this holiday season will be another big year as prices have continued to drop since last year. 3D TVs have been on the market long enough that consumers may finally start seeing some deep discounts on older 3D models on Black Friday this year. With HDTVs, quality can vary greatly from the cheaper to the more expensive units. In many cases, the lowest-priced models on Black Friday are stripped-down models lacking some of the bells and whistles of the higher priced versions. That doesn’t necessarily mean that these deals aren’t great, just that consumers should be aware of what they are buying and have realistic expectations for the performance they’ll get out of it. GottaDeal.com fully expects to see the cheapest 42″ LCD HDTVs in the $249 to $299 range this year. During the last few months on GottaDeal.com, they’ve posted deals for 42″ HDTVs for as low as $349, so it’s completely realistic to expect deals in Black Friday ads for under $300 on a lower-quality model. These cheaper HDTVs will likely be 720p and will lack features found in more expensive models. While Black Friday is a great time to buy the loss-leader, lower-end HDTVs, for consumers looking for a deal on a higher quality, name-brand HDTV, the best time to buy is typically in early to mid-December as retailers ramp up the deals to get those last minute sales before the holidays. And even if consumers miss those deals, the pre-Super Bowl TV deals are also very attractive. Laptops, Netbooks & Tablets One of the biggest hot Black Friday ad items traditionally has been the ultra-cheap laptop. The recent surge in popularity of tablets has taken sales away from traditional laptops, but the bargain-basement laptop is still the quintessential Black Friday deal. Desktop computers, while still popular, are not as “sexy” as they’ve been in the past. They have become almost disposable because of price drops and the fact that it doesn’t take much in terms of features to handle what 99% of the general public uses a desktop for in their daily lives. If consumers are considering purchasing a laptop or netbook on Black Friday this year, GottaDeal.com can’t stress enough how important it is to decide what features they need and what they will be using the computer for. There will be cheap laptops, but if they don’t fit their needs, as good of a deal they may seem on the surface, most will end up disappointed soon after they purchase it. The “classic” Black Friday laptop the last few years has had a 15.6″ widescreen LCD display, a dual-core processor, 3GB to 4GB of memory, 320GB to 500GB hard drive and DVD burning drive, along with standard features such as WiFi, modem and ethernet port. Laptops like these have been available all year long from retailers such as Best Buy, Dell and Staples for as low as $299. Therefore GottaDeal.com predicts consumers will see this level of laptop in Black Friday ads for around $199 this year. GPS Systems GPS navigation systems were huge several years ago during Black Friday, but since then as most consumers interested in them have bought one, they aren’t in demand like they used to be. Prices have continued to drop as new models have been released with incremental feature upgrades such as updated maps, traffic and weather capability and improved, larger displays. Deals have been posted all year long on GottaDeal.com for GPS systems well below $100 and therefore they expect to see a budget GPS system with 3.5″ LCD display for $29 to $39 this year on Black Friday, and more name-brand, feature-loaded models from the manufacturers just mentioned for $80-100. Larger models with 5″ displays and lifetime traffic and maps service should be around $129 this year. A best bet is too look for a model with lifetime traffic and map updates as they won’t have the need to pay every few years to get the latest maps. A 4.3 model with these features could be had this year for as low as $99. Video Games Video games should be given a lift this Black Friday thanks to some highly anticipated new games. The recent price cut on the Nintendo 3DS will likely translate into deep discounts on the older models such as the DSi, DS Lite and others. Expect low prices or bundles with free games and accessories. The Nintendo Wii will be an interesting item this year. With the new Wii U scheduled to be released next year, retailers may want to begin clearing stock of the current Wii Console. Expect deals such as a Wii bundled with a $50 gift card for $149 this holiday season. Popular games being released this fall should also help sales, although deals for these new games will not be easy to find. Instead, expect promotions such as free accessories, gift cards, point cards or other items with the purchase of selected newer games. Deals on older video game titles will be very good this year as the current set of consoles matures. Look for greatest hits games for all major consoles to be on sale in the $10-15 range. Additional Hot Items As for what will be hot this year, it’s always tough to say. It’s likely going to be a combination of the items such as laptops & tablets, HDTVs, toys, video games and home items. With the economy still down, many households are looking to improve their home rather than spend money on vacations or other expenditures. Therefore we expect those items such as appliances, kitchen items, lawn & garden, furniture and bedding to be popular. Many shoppers will be looking to save money on the “basics” and that will likely be reflected in the deals shown in the ads this year. Online Black Friday Deals The experts at GottaDeal.com can’t stress enough that to get the best deals on Black Friday or any other day of the year, you have to check online first. At GottaDeal.com they post hundreds of new online deals each week and their forum members post even more every day on the message boards. On Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com, they’ll have a continuously updated list of Black Friday ad items that can be purchased online at Black Friday ad prices. Look for this list in mid-November. They urge their visitors to order as many ad items as possible online before leaving the house. It’ll save time, hassle and space in the trunk. They do expect online retailers to continue to offer amazing deals this quarter as well as they compete with the brick and mortar retailers. Expect big sales and online-only coupons from retailers such as Amazon.com, Overstock.com, Buy.com, Walmart.com, Dell.com and many, many others. And to keep track of these deals, just bookmark the home page at GottaDeal.com where they’ll keep you updated on the latest deals throughout the day, every day of the year. PvP: Intermission
Prologue / Act 1: Scene 1 / Act 1: Scene 2 / Act 1: Scene 3 I am pausing here to take a good look around. I have talked about the first three planets that have actual PvP on them. I have also touch on the two planets that have no actual world PvP on them after the origin planets. I want to give you a list of planets and their levels for each faction. There is not much difference in the list, except that the origin planets are different and there are two planets that trade places depending on the faction. Other than that, both factions are on the same planets at the same levels. Prologue: Tython – Republic Start Planet – Level 1-10 (Jedi Knight / Jedi Counselor) Prologue: Korriban – Empire Start Planet – Level 1-10 (Sith Warrior / Sith Inquisitor) Prologue: Ord Mantell – Republic Start Planet – Level 1-10 (Trooper / Smuggler) Prologue: Hutta – Empire Start Planet – Level 1-10 (Imperial Agent / Bounty Hunter) Prologue: Coruscant – Republic Home Planet – Level 10-16 Prologue: Dramund Kass – Empire Home World – Level 10-16 ———————————————————– Act 1: Taris – – Republic Level 16-20 – Empire Level 32-36 Act 1: Nar Shaddaa – World Pvp – Republic Level 20-24 – Empire Level 20-24 Act 1: Tatooine – World Pvp – Republic Level 24-28 – Empire Level 24-28 Act 1: Alderaan – World Pvp – Republic Level 28-32 – Empire Level 28-32 ———————————————————– Act 2: Balmorra – – Republic Level 32-36 – Empire Level 16-20 Act : Quesh – World Pvp – Republic Level 36-37 – Empire Level 36-37 Act : Hoth – World Pvp – Republic Level 37-41 – Empire Level 37-41 Act : Belsavis – World Pvp – Republic Level 41-44 – Empire Level 41-44 Act : Voss – World Pvp – Republic Level 44-47 – Empire Level 44-47 Act : Corellia – World Pvp – Republic Level 47-50 – Empire Level 47-50 Act : Ilum – World Pvp – Republic Level 50 – Empire Level 50 This is good for PvP, as it means the players will always have the same general levels competing with them. This also means that a higher level character can be brought to these locations and decimate the folks leveling there. I have actually not seen players doing this, which makes me much happier with the population. I am sure it happens, as there are always players that feel like they must be bullies to others and show their abilities to those of a lower level. Personally I don’t get it, but it happens. It’s human nature. I want to take this moment to actually talk about PvP etiquette. Now I looked around on the internet and found a post I liked (PvP etiquette by Justinjspark) 1. Never leave just before someone’s almost going to kill you -This doesn’t help anyone… You get a death and the opponent gets no kill 2. When you are in a 1v1 always wait for the other player to regenerate their health and mana -It’s just not fair -PvP skills won’t improve 3. Try not to lose your marbles over a couple of deaths (keep your cool) -Not a good reputation -Opponent doesn’t feel happy about their kill 4. When in 1v1, don’t cheat and take a head start by attacking before the gesture to go (kinda annoys me) -You’ll just make the opponent pretty mad and that’s not what pvp is made for 5. Try not to be TOO serious/stern when PvPing … I mean World of Warcraft RAGE -Takes the fun out of pvp 6. Don’t boot players…. If you want a private match, put a password on it -Really annoys the player I actually mostly agree to his points. I have to say, though, it looks like he is mostly talking about duel type PvP, or arenas. These forms do not really have any similarities to the world PvP and warzones we have in Star Wars: The Old Republic. One thing I did not see in his list is rude behavior from the “winner.” I have found more often than not I will be out and about alone and I will get stomped two or more other players. Then I will get “tea bagged” or they will point and laugh, or say a number of rude things about my abilities. Now I have no illusions that I am great at PvP, but really…. two against one and the one loses… is that really surprising? And why the childish behavior? Does that actually make the win better? Basically for me, it moves me to another zone or planet so I don’t have to deal with children. Now the world is not fair, equal, or even nice in many situations. I am not offended most times when this behavior occurs, but it does lower my enjoyment of the game. I realize that my age and experience also colors my appreciation for this level of competition and behavior. Here is another site that talks about etiquette in general. I think this site may be better, as they are referring directly to Star Wars: The Old Republic. When you mix in unfiltered access to a public space and anonymity together, the results can oftentimes be one hot mess; just watch general chat for a few minutes. However, you yourself don’t have to be a complete menace to the social nature of the game. Simply follow a few rules and you will surely find others who can be just as cordial and helpful.
Of course, you will see exceptions to these rules. Inconsiderate tools abound — you can’t escape them, but don’t be one of them! A true guide for etiquette is difficult to put together. Much of it has to do with the individual person. I have found that those that are the rudest tend to get upset when it is done to them. I tend to use “do unto others as you wish done unto you” as my guide. I do the best I can in the fight. If I win I am not rude to my enemy, if I lose I am not rude. I have found many players that not only are much better at PvP and have better gear, but they also seem to be grown up enough to either just leave, or say “good fight.” Well, I believe I can get off my soap box for now. Next week I will start on the Act 2 planets. Thank you for reading. I hope this series has been helpful, or at least entertaining. You can follow Rosie on Twitter at @Dawnsrose. You can also contact her directly via email at . She is currently playing on Vulkar Highway as a Republic Sage, and is on most of the day, till about midnight PST.

Panasonic developing handheld games console: report — The Ultimate Science Fair Project Resource
The new device will aim to challenge traditional console makers Nintendo and Sony and a growing set of smartphones and tablet computers that play games, Dow Jones Newswires reported. It quoted a Panasonic spokesman as saying the company is developing a product called the “Jungle”, with other sources saying that the device was a game machine. A website, welcometo.thejungle.com, shows a handheld flip screen device briefly in a promotional video. Any new games console faces a market already crowded by the likes of Nintendo’s DS and Sony’s PlayStation Portable as well as cheap games that run on mobile phones. Nintendo will next year release its highly anticipated 3DS console, having seen its shares hammered last week on news that the device would miss the Christmas shopping season. Panasonic released a home console in the early 1990s called the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, but the machine flopped with a 700 dollar price tag considered too expensive and it…Read more at original source: physorg.com/news205653608.html

Baby Shower Nursery Rhyme Game: Getting a Great One
Discovering the right baby shower nursery rhyme game for the get-together you are hosting just calls for a small bit of time and preparation. You should think about who is on your guest list, the theme, and how much time you will have available for games in the course of the shower. Below are ideas for you to make use of at your event. If you have a common baby shower theme like it’s a girl, any baby shower nursery rhyme game will be acceptable to use. If you have a more particular theme like monkeys or ducks, it is extra entertaining to make use of a game that is in keeping with the theme. Strive to get rhymes which are monkey or duck based. Getting a game that fits this specific of a theme at a party supply store is going to be tricky to get. You are going to be better off creating one yourself. One which would not be too demanding to produce is a fill-in-the-blank game. Simply find nursery rhymes, cut and paste the words into a file, and take out some of the words. You can also find songs to download from an on-line service and have people either yell out the name of the song or jot it down when you play a clip of it. As with many things for a baby shower, it is critical to take a look at who is on your guest list. Is there a nursery rhymes shower game which a number of of your visitors would not desire to do? Word scrambles or name that rhyme can function well for a guest list which does not know each other very much. These are nursery rhyme games which may be played independently rather than as a group. Party supply stores or online suppliers often have games like this accessible. If you have the time, you can also create your own. Mixing up the title of a rhyme is a straightforward technique to produce a word scramble. For name that nursery rhyme, you will want to create a sentence or two that describes the rhyme without making it too simple for your guests. Take into account the amount of time you have open to play baby shower games and think about how long the game you are planning will take. Once you decide on a nursery rhyme baby shower game, you may wish to ask a pal to do the game and time how long it takes them. For games which a guest will complete individually, make it a point to add in time for individuals to say hello to others and chat. Games that require a group to interact together will have to be timed differently. If you are performing a game of draw the nursery rhyme, know the number of different rhymes you will have every team sketch and just how much time you will allot them to do the sketch. There will also be a little down time between the drawings which you need to bear in mind.
